Zach Hynek is the co-founder and CEO of Morton Labs, a multi-physics simulation and design platform built to accelerate fusion energy commercialization. He earned his master’s degree at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he studied the techno-economics and financing of fusion power plants. A long-time supporter of open-source development, Zach founded Morton Labs to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and industrial deployment by coordinating open-source innovation and delivering an enterprise-grade platform that integrates both open- and closed-source tools.
